backing store conversion

All,
We are about to convert/upgrade from 5.0 to 5.5.1, and I was wondering if the iwconvert CLT actually copies the backing store from the original (source) machine to the new installation temp box (target), or does it move it? I am assuming that the CLT copies, but wanted to make sure.

First - you should be converting to 5.5.2 not 5.5.1 - yes? (OpenDeploy is 5.5.1 - everything else should be 5.5.2)

Second - the data is copied/converted from the "old" server to the "new" server - the pre-existing data is not "moved" (in the sense that it is not copied/*re*moved from the source). This allows you to continue using your "old" server for some period of time while making sure that the conversion of the data has worked, and then doing an incremental last-update conversion of assets that changed since the previous conversion just before you cut-over.
