Hello Kabir,
One thing that helps many customers with successful upgrades is good planning. Before starting the upgrade process, it is a good idea to examine how you are currently using TeamSite, and which features you plan to use once you upgrade.
Here are a list of features that were added as of TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1:
Flexible roles and delegated administration in TeamSite 6.7
User and Group management enhancements in TeamSite 6.7
Linux RedHat AS/ES4 platform support in TeamSite 6.7.1
Solaris 10 support in TeamSite 6.7 (Solaris 8 is no longer supported)
TeamSite server runs as non-root user on Solaris and Linux from TeamSite 6.7.1
New Workflow modeler toolkit to design workflows in addition to the current perl based workflow templates (wft) in TeamSite 6.7.1
New user impersonation scheme on Windows in TeamSite 6.7.1
TinyMCE support in addition to Ektron VFE in TeamSite 6.7.1
Depending on which of these features apply to you, you will need to plan how you want to use it. The good news is that if you are on TeamSite 6.5, and your backing store is TeamSite 6.5 (ie, you didn't upgrade from 5.5.2 without migrating your backing store) then you won't need to migrate your backing store during the upgrade.
There are a couple DevNet webcasts and other resouces that NB pointed to that can help you, but please feel free to post questions here also. Things like what features you plan to use, and what platform you are on will be helpful at providing more guidance.
Happy Upgrading,
Heather
