Invoking workflow using iwwft_compile.ipl

Can some one help me on this? (TS 6.5)

I am trying to invoke a workflow using iwwft_compile.ipl
using the below command.
----------------------------------------------
# /iw-home/teamsite/bin/iwwft_compile.ipl -i < /iw-home/local/config/wft/hn/mhneap/wfParams.xml
ERROR: failed starting job
You must be a master to run iwjobc.
----------------------------------------------
I am currently assigned only to the role "editor".

Is it mandatory for me to be a assigned to "master " role to invoke a workflow?

Hi,

I am not very sure about this from the command line but you can check what is defined role list for your workflow in available_templates.cfg? If there is no editor role specified then you may try adding one and then retry invoking the WF.

You have to be master to invoke the WF through command line...It is mandatory.

As a suggestion, create a pseudo user with master role and wherever required use the particular user.

Check with Support - one of the reasons iwwft_compile.ipl was created was to allow non-master's to initiate jobs from the command line - and I'm pretty sure it worked as such in some versions of TS (I haven't tried using it too recently, so I don't remember all the circumstances)
