Anyone using Teamsite with an MVC framework?

Is anyone using Teamsite with an MVC framework such as Ruby on Rails, Perl Catalyst or Python's Django?

Interested in sharing information about possible approaches.

There's the obvious approach (just have Teamsite manage your "views" as templates) but this has drawbacks.

Another approach would be to treat the DCR's as models and pass them as objects to the views (much like you'd treat a relational database model).

Anyway -- anyone else solved this problem?
