Best Practice - User Migration first or Content Store migration first?

Hi,

I wanted to know best practice regarding user migration and content migration. which one we need do first ?

While running iwidmap we need to specify content store path so do we need to do content store migration first ?

Environment : teamsite 6.1 on windows 2000 migrating to teamsite 6.7.1 sp1 on windows 2003.

I would think that migrating the users first would make sense if you have them associated with your content so that when the content comes over, it relates to the same user in the new environment..

Not sure what you're trying to do, but if it is to migrate a content store to a new server, then this might be helpful:

Step 2 (in the Windows section) says (this is almost the first step, apart from logging in as an administrator :-):

2. Recreate any local users and groups that are used in TeamSite on the new server (if not possible, then you will need to run iwidmap later). iwaccessmigrate will give errors in step 7 if some of the users and groups in the store are missing from the OS (e.g. "ERROR: in retrieving groups of user").
