Purpose of Teamsite

Hi All:
I'm a newbie in Teamsite as well as in Interwoven.
So my concept is not very clear what is the actual utility of Teamsite where lots of other software tool is available in Interwoven like Worksite Server.

So in gist,
What are the differences between Worksite and Teamsite ? And their business oriented application scope during the project development ?

Please help.

Please do some searching on Devnet and hopefully it will help you for sure. Additionally you can give a call to IWOV guys to understand its business needs. I can see another thread in which you asked about Teamsite with a different user name of course......so do you really want two threads for this? If no then you can opt for closing one thread.

To answer your question - Teamsite is Web Content Management System whereas Worksite is a Document Content Management System.

I would suggest before understanding what are Teamsite, Worksite or any other Contet Management tools, you must and should do a brief reading on what is Enterprise Content Management.. Types of Content.. and various ways in how Content Management helps an organisation.. Once through you will be able to understand the terms Interwoven uses on its site for all its products...
