Unable to establish connection with server

Hi All,

We were having TS6.1 on windows 2003. we took the backup of files and installed the OS again.

Then we did a fresh install of TS6.7.1. In the iw.cfg we copied the license-key and all in the [iwserver] section. rebooted the system

Now we are getting the below error

TeamSite I18N initialization successful!
[Tue Mar 25 20:09:35 2008]
*** IWServer Locale is --> English_UnitedStates.MS1252@Binary
[Tue Mar 25 20:09:35 2008] ERROR: License validation failed (3): No such file or directory
[Tue Mar 25 20:09:35 2008] Contact Interwoven for a new license key.

we dont have any I:\iw-home\etc\TS.lic file.

Note: IW account manager told us that we will not require license , we can use the same old license. (so we never generated any license).

Can you one please help us on this.

Hello,

Between TeamSite 6.1 and TeamSite 6.7.1 (specifically with the release of TeamSite 6.5 SP2) Interwoven released a new licensing model for TeamSite that now produces a ts.lic file instead of a code that you enter into the iw.cfg file.

You will need to generate a new license for your server on TeamSite 6.7.1. You can generate it on the support site.
