TeamSite 6.7.2 and LiveSite 3.1 BETA Calling for participants for a combined Beta for TeamSite 6.7.2 and LiveSite 3.1
Duration: 45 Days, starting end of March 2008TeamSite 6.7.2 is the next sustaining release for the TeamSite 6.7 platform as follow-on to the TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 release that shipped in September 2007. This release includes several features & usability enhancements including Multi-File TagUI, cross-branch search capabilities, search and replace in FormsPublisher, support for Vintella based authentication and a number of bug fixes.
SitePublisher, now merged with TeamSite, includes new features such as Fixed Area Layout, support for FireFox browser, performance enhancements and several bug fixes.
LiveSite 3.1 & Targeting 3.1 delivers promising new features for Marketers including a number of new features to allow targeting of content to site visitors based on their navigation behavior, date & time, search keywords, client browser & operating system. For customers looking to integrate LiveSite into their existing J2EE web applications, a set of “tag libraries” for rendering SitePublisher pages are now included. There are also capabilities for developers to specify “tokens” which can be substituted by LiveSite in runtime.

TeamSite Feature Enhancements• Merged Installer: SitePublisher and Interwoven Targeting are now packaged with the TeamSite installer, supporting a single installation process to add SitePublisher and Targeting capabilities to TeamSite.
• Multi-file TagUI: Supports multi-file tagging based on the new metadata capture UI.
• Cross Branch Search: Searching of content across branches in TeamSite.
• Search and Replace: Support for searching and replacing within a single Form.
• Vintella based authentication: Support for authenticating users in active directory from Windows, Solaris and Linux using Vintella authentication.
• VA enhancements: Support for internationalization of VA allowing for annotation of “non-English” web pages.
• Usability enhancements: In the areas of content contribution, installation and configuration.
• TFO Enhancements: Administration and infrastructure enhancements.
SitePublisher Feature Enhancements• Fixed area layout: Allows for page creation using fixed area layouts.
• URL Aliases: Support for the definition of URL Aliases or Vanity URLs.
• FireFox Support: SitePublisher users can use FireFox 2.0.x (Windows, Mac and UNIX clients)
• Performance Enhancements: Includes fixes to improve performance of Page Edit
• UI bug Fixes: Enhanced “Get Latest Components”, miscellaneous bug fixes.
• Other enhancements: Support for specification of Site and Page Controllers, New Site updates, UI for selecting component skins
LiveSite and Targeting Feature Enhancements• Anonymous User Targeting: Supports serving targeted content to anonymous site visitors based on Referrer URL, Cookie based userID/login, Day-Part and Time, Clickstream, Browser & Operating System. Also supports GeoIP/Connection Speed based Targeting using a custom SitePublisher component (requires license to NetAcquity GeoIP database – purchase directly from Digital Element)
• Site and Page Controllers: Site and Page controllers allowing for execution of custom business logic prior to Site loading or Page rendering
• Tag Library for LiveSite Page Rendering: “Tag Library” that can be used in J2EE web applications to render SitePublisher pages – whether targeted or not. Allows for co-existence of SitePublisher and Targeting as part of a larger custom display environment (J2EE web application)
• Token Substitution: Support for substituting dynamic values into a page using “tokens”, including values from the RequestContext and values from a Page Scope or page-specific key-value pairs.
• Bug Fixes: Miscellaneous bug fixes
