Connection to Worksite server using JAVA api

I want to connect to Worksite server using some JAVA api. Please anyone help me what is the api provided by Interwoven and how to connect to the Worksite server using that java api ?

The SDK does not support the Java platform. Are you sure you want to connect the WorkSite NT Server?

Yes, I'm sure that I want to communicate with the Worksite 8.2 server.

Do you know any other option, like Web Service, by which I can communicate using JAVA ? If it is a Web Service, then what are the other components I need to install ?

The web client, WorkSite Web, provides web services to which you can connect using Java. There are approximately 13 web services available. They center on creation/editing documents and workspaces. WorkSite Web requires a separate license than that of the WorkSite Server.
