Broken Pipe Error

Hi ,
when i am trying to preview a DCR, it gives me a error saying "
The following error occured while creating file Y:\default\main\lightsite\global\gl_en\activiva_club\WORKAREA\activiva_club\templatedata\zz_tst_rajiv_gupta01_0_manifest:
Broken pipe
The file was not generated. "

Can anyone help me out ?

Sounds like a problem with the PT.
Does this happen all the time with:

myData.txt

crosstab.rptdesign

What is the value of your preview_history_limit under the section [teamsite_templating] in the file iw.cfg?
If its less or equal to 2, then make it 4 and run iwreset -a and try again to preview.

Broken pipeerror in template previews occur if the preview file, zz**** - which are not visible from Teamsite UI, is corrupted or deleted. This behavior can be seen in most instances where more than one user is working in the same workarea at the same time. As users preview their contents, the temporary preview files generated by Teamsite are overwritten and can cause this behavior.

To remove the error: Please make changes as suggested by Pawan.

I think the default value is set to 1. We generally keep it to 5. By increasing the value, you specifiy TeamSite the number of previews that can be done in a workarea before the old preview files are deleted and recycled.

The problem was solved by following the steps mentioned by Pawan....I just changed the value to "4" and it worked.
