Log file -- Urgent

Hi,

I have a log file called error.log in iwui folder. It is getting bigger and bigger, almost run out off drive space.
I tried to make it backup, and created an empty file with the same file name, but it still write into old log file which is hold by some other file i think.

My question is how i can delete this file, i already have no space.
Also what happen if i delete this file?

Any replies will be appreciated.

Try stopping the TS services, delete the log and restart the service.

You can also do an iwreset -a and delete the log in the middle, if this is a UI log (you listed iwui so it should work).

Thanks all for your replies.
I wished that easy to stop server, delete log file and restart server.
but it was not allowed me to do it. Says: cannot delete error.log even i already changed this file name.

Currently this problem has been solved.
