TS 6.7.1 Upgrade on Solaris 10

Hi All,

We are planning to upgrade our Teamsite from 6.1 to 6.7.1 SP1. We would be upgarding our Solaris also.

I had a few questions, hope any one can help me on this.

1. We would be upgrading to Solaris 10. What are the pre-requisit patches that need to be installed before we do a fresh install of TS 6.7.1 SP1.

2. With the above setup, what OD version would work. We are planning for OD6.2 will the same work with TS6.7.1 SP1 and Solaris 10(with the patches recommended by you)

3. We are presently using iplanet-ldap for our Auth (iplanet LDAP 5.1 serice pack 3). Will the same work with TS 6.7.1 Sp1 and Solaris 10. If yes that what all OS and sun(LDAP)patches are recommended by IW. If no then what version of iplanet would be supported with solaris 10 and TS 6.7.1

any ans/suggestion would be of great help for us in planning.

I believe that pretty much all these questions are answered in the Install and/or Release Notes for TeamSite - in general - get the latest Solaris and Java patches applied.

OD 6.2 should work fine - again check the manuals and/or Support site for the compatibility matrixes if you're unsure.

For the virtualization "customer web server" - I imagine that will work fine - you just have to make sure you configure it correctly with regard to the port it runs on and the virtual directory / mount point that hooks in to TeamSite (I believe that's covered in one of the manuals too).
