However workflow distribution accross 'workitem' queues PLUS ensuring row-level locking is set on all tables makes a big difference to the robustness and some difference to the speed of trade processing. (The priority number in the workflow visio is the queue number that will be used).
Just spreading the workflow around the queues without enabling row-locking can actually make things worse.
