LDAP and Teamsite -: Same Box

Hi Friends,

I have installed Teamsite 6.7.1 SP1 on windows 2003 server for testing purpose and we are also using same server as a test LDAP server. Throughout the installation I never been showed the "Authentication Method screen" to choose the authentication option. After insatllation Teamsite automatically picks all domains resides on LDAP server that is quite obvious. Now I want to integrate the LDAP with Teamsite because of both(Teamsite & LDAP) are the in same box so before going ahead for "LDAP integration" according to the manaul, I would like to take yours suggestions like precautions and configurable steps that will take place.

You need to Define the authentication section to point to LDAP . Refer the TS Admin guide for details.

Except this I think I need to configure the user_database.xml file too?? and if any other modification need to do please let me know.

Yes. You configure TeamSite to authenticate against a LDAP server(s) by defining the server info in user_database.xml.
