Migrating documents from Docs 3.9

We have a Docs 3.9 repository. Now we have implemented Interwoven as out DMS. Can someone please let me know how we can migrate our existing documents from Docs 3.9 to Interwoven

One does not "implement Interwoven" - one implements one-or-more Interwoven products.

Are you talking about TeamSite (web content management system) or WorkSite (document management system) If the latter, which I think may be likely, you should post your query in the WorkSite forums.

Isn't web content management system, called LiveSite. My understanding was that TeamSite is the DMS in which one can create a repository. Is that incorrect?

We have a terabyte of documents in Docs3.9. It is on windows system and has only one reposiotry. Now we want to migrate to Interwoven which is also on Windows. The challenge now is to get the content from Docs to Interwoven.

Please let me know if you need some specific information.

LiveSite / SitePublisher are associated with TeamSite and deal with WCM.
WorkSite is the document management system.

Versioning is available in both TeamSite and WorkSite.

I strongly recommend that you contact Interwoven and set up a meeting with one of their Sales representatives - they can give you far more information in a more meaningful manner (with demos, etc.) than you can get from a text-based forum description - and they can work with you to more fully understand your needs and desires to guide you to the correct Interwoven product(s).
