Hello ank, Desksite and Filesite has most of the same funcionalities, the direfference between them are that Filesite is integrated inside your Microsoft Outlook, you have access to you Document Management System the same way you are managing you E-Mail Folders. It is like an add-in of Microsoft Outlook.

On the other hand, Desksite has more or less the same features but it is an application by itself.

Yes ank, even you are using Deskite or Filesite DMS is Integrated with Microsoft Word, so when you are working in Microsoft Word you have DMS functionalities.
