polling target folder

I'm doing reverse deployment. I want to know whether is there any way to poll the target server with the filelist attached, so that when the files come s to the target folder, reverse deloyment should happen automatically.

I've never done that before, but it seems like you could maybe accomodate it by having a DNR that runs on the target before the deployment and handles the polling logic. However, there's a fairly complex set of rules about what events can trigger a DNR on the source vs. on the target, so you'll probably want to consult the manual to make sure that my suggestion is viable.
