Turning unnamed editions into named editions

Does anyone know of a way of turning an unnamed edition into a named edition?

Using TS 6.7.1 on W2K machine.

(I get the unamed edition by selecting a branch and doing a View --> Submit Log)

Yes, I am talking about hidden editions. I'd like to extract some information from a hidden edition on a particular date and am wondering if this is possible?

I do not believe that the GUI or any CLT will provide you the ability to name a hidden edition (feel free to open a Feature Request with Support though)

From the file system interface though, if you know the actual name of the hidden edition (e.g.: #382) you can cd into the edition and run other CLTs to access information about the files within. e.g.:

/> cd /default/main/somebranch/EDITION/#382
#382> ls -l
...
