Customizing Teamsite 5.5.2

I am aware that you can customize the branches within Teamsite (ie. WORKAREAS could be named Projects etc.) But I am interested to know if I can change the actually STAGING name beside the folder with the arrow. I am looking to make this feature english/french bi-lingual (ie. STAGING/STAGE) I am looking to do the same thing with the EDITIONS element as well.

Any ideas??

Are you talking about the "labels" used within the GUI?

It sounds like you already know about [some] aspects of the iw.cfg's settings:

[iwcgi]
branch_label=SUB-BRANCHES
staging_label=STAGING AREA
edition_label=EDITIONS
workarea_label=WORKAREAS

Is this what you were talking about being able to change?

If not - could you perhaps re-clarify what you are trying to do?

Thanks for the quick response. I am interested in changing the actual name of STAGING, not the configurable label in iw.cfg or tsadmin.

I do not believe that the actual directory name "STAGING" is configurable - chances are it would break a great many parts of the product and scripts associated wth the product if one were to do so.

If you really feel strongly about this - I suggest you open up a case with Interwoven Support, but (IMO) I don't see this changing any time soon... Sorry.
