Change in iw-home location

Jenni

Hi All,

Thanks in advance. I am trying to change the location of iw-home. As of now, the home location is /teamsite and we would like it to be changed to /teamsite/iw-home.

Thanks!

My guess is that you'd need to reinstall TeamSite.

I'd imagine the complexity of trying to move all of the relevant files and update your configuration accordingly would be rather complex.

Even i have tried it and i have moved the Iw-home from /apps/iw-home to /opt/customer/iw-home

1. Unmounted the /apps file system and mounted it to /opt/customer.
2. Update IW-CFG to reflect the correct paths
3. Navigate to /etc and check all default files for iw-home entries

example: defaultiwaccesshome
defaultiwelog
defaultiwhome
defaultiwmount
defaultiwlog
defaultiwinstall
defaultiwstore etc.

3. Create a softlink from old iw-home location to the new one
example : /apps/iw-home to /opt/customer/iw-home

4. Navigate to all iw-home//conf folder and check for old iw-home entries.

5. Stop and start TeamSite
