iwcontent.xml

We are manually creating this file on portal side. Which list all the DCTs created by Teamsite and all the items in a DCT. Then we are using api to read data from DCR with the help of this iwcontent.xml.

If somebody has already worked on it, can please tell us that how to generate this iwcontent.xml automatically or by any api during deployment of DCR's from Teamsite to portal.

And how can we handle replicant type items in this file.

How are you deploying from TS to Portal?
"Which list all the DCTs created by Teamsite and all the items in a DCT" did you mean "Which list all the DCRs created by Teamsite and all the items in a DCR"

When do you want to update this iwcontent.xml file?

I am sorry, I am still not able to understand your question or requirements. Please elaborate or I would not be of any help.. Maybe someone who has implemented this previously can understand your question with limited information available

You could create the iwcontent.xml with a script to parse the DCT, extract and write out the XPATH's, this script can then be hooked to a workflow, customtrigger or however you want it to be OD'ed to the portal.
But from what it looks like, if you need to be able to edit the DCR's from the portal, then there can be a more elegant solution to it depending on your setup.
