tif and transparent background

Hi,

When users download .tif files from MediaBin with transparent background the background is black instead of transparent/white. Is that a setting that by default sets the background to white ?

Any help or hints will be greatly appreciated.

Please also be more specific about what tools you are using in each case. Are you using the (None) task or are you repurposing a file to Tiff? When you look at the file are you using Photoshop or some other utility? Do you get different results if you use (Get Original)?
