Ok I got it. My teamsite server seems to be running but when I try to login to the content center it says server disconnected .What can be the problem?

Can you clarify what you mean by "seems to be running"? Does iwstat report that the content store is up, or are you just getting the login? Have you checked the various services/daemons to make sure that everything is running?

Iam attaching the iwstat o/p.Can you please what other services and daemons can I check.

Also I did the following

$ /bin/ps -ef | grep iwserver | grep -v grep

iwts 14697 14692 0 Mar 28 ? 20:31 iwserver.sol -e /iw-home/local/logs/iwevents.log /iw-store

And I couldnt find anything significant in the logs too

If on the login, CC states Server Disconnected, its problem with your server only. Please attach your iwtrace.log to the post

A complete log would be better but from as much as I can see, your TS server is having issues connecting to the LOGIN Daemon. Please attach complete log for better insight

Can you tell me how are you able to say that its the flaw of LOGIN daemon.

see your iwtrace.log.. there have been login failures.. also, attach your complet e log..

I did attach my log but its too long so I am sending a part that comes b4 my previous log file .Hope this is enough

and similar messages can be seen time and time again. Are you able to login now?

no Iam not.Actually on march 28th this problem came up and they stopped and restarted the server. And today again the same problem came up.

Yeah,I know .Do you know how to solve this.I dont know anything about LOGIN daemon. There is almost no info on net and i dont have the login for support.interwoven.com where I saw an article on this. Any help guys.

Probably your server is having a disturbed connectivity with your Domain Controller...or LDAP server whichever you are using

Yesterday I said that I am having difficulty logging into the content center but the server was runnung fine.Today it started logging us in again.So I was just checking what did they do.When I looked into the iwtrace.log I understood that they stopped the server and restarted it again.Am I right?And is there any other way to solve the problem xcept stopping and restarting the server .Because we had a simillar problem a week back.Thanks in advance.

As mentioned earlier, Probably your server is having a disturbed connectivity with your Domain Controller...or LDAP server whichever you are using. This is no Teamsite issue.

At the same time, please attach your iw.cfg and maybe there is an issue on how you have configured authentication

Find it for yourself analysing the log file you attached. It clearly shows the server being restarted.

You may like to restrict your domains and specify a domain controller.

Read the Admin Guide for more information or search Devnet. I do not remember the exact configuration in iw.cfg which helps you restrict to domains..

Hey guys,

I am facing server disconnected issue. I suspect this is a bug in TS6.7.1, but nowhere this is mentioned.

Could you please validate. The details of TS server is TS6.7.1 on Solaris without LDAP.

I had a bad experience 2years back with the same issue (servletd issue). But I couldn't recall whether it 5.5.2 or 6.1 issue.

Now again the same issue exists in TS6.7.1 Do we have any fix for this?

Please use "TeamSite Product Line" for TS related issues.
