Content Services Foundation

Hi all,

We have had TeamSite (Solaris) and OpenDeploy (Solaris) for many years, and we are now installing SitePublisher and LiveSite. I am going through the installation instructions and there is mention about Content Services Foundation. It states that you are prompted for the install during the OpenDeploy installation process. The last time I installed OpenDeploy has been over 6 months ago, and I can't remember what it said about CFS. Does anyone know if there is a way to verify if the Content Services Foundation is installed or running? If not, whats the best way to install it?

see if you have Interwoven Access or CSF process running on your server. I do not know the exact name..

CSF is part of the OD AdminServer installation (not the BaseServer)
If you have the OD Admin GUI, then you probably have CSF

Since it is a solaris box, best way to quickly check CSF is installed or NOT - go to /etc/init.d and check for iwaccess service.

I guess I don't really understand the question, but it sounds like you should start by talking to your sales rep. If you already have OpenDeploy, then you most likely have access to the content services. If you don't have OpenDeploy, then you may need to purchase it.

I do not think, anyone practices on CSF for opendeploy.. Do you mean CSSDK?
