Initial Comments while submitting the templates for approval

Please help with the possibilities of the following:

1. Is there any possibility to add user comments while submitting any template?(in the initial screen, where we are seeing Next Action, Attach to existing task or new job)
2. Is it available by setting any option?
3. Is the customization possible for this?
4. If 6.5 is not providing, is it possible with 6.7.1?

Its possible with all TS evnironments and all kinds of Workflows. You basically want to customise the workflow instantiation screen. Assign a job variable to what you collect from the screen and then use this variable wherever you like to in your workflow..

You can achieve all these thing easily.
Are you using Workflow Modeler?
If yes then you just add a configurable variable in workflow property's global variable. You can give it any default value or just keep blank.
Now, when you initiating your workflow all the configurable variable will come on the screen. You can put values and submit the workflow.

You can also customize the look & feel of screen by "custom_intantiation.cfg" like putting textarea, radio button, drop down.
You can also use this variable in any of the task by its id "$IW_CV(varId)". Like notification email you can send this comment to recipients.

Guys, Last week when I was talking to support about this, they said they have to look about this and didn't confirm immediately. Just I want to make sure, are we on same page? Please find the attachment for the screen shot. We will get that screen after clicking on 'Finish' button of any template, did anyone customize it? If that is not possible then the alternate is whatever we discussed,right? Thanks.

No You do not customise this screen. Basically when you click Next on this screen, you get the workflow instantiation form. You need to customise that.. That is the general, probably ideal way to go about the situation...

Thanks moonkhanna. But if I follow that my user have to see two screens 1. This next button screen 2. The comments screen - our customization. Is that the way everyone doing if they need comments or extra fields? Can't we able to suppress/hide the first screen with Next button? Is it same in 6.7/6.7.1 also?
