WFM: Event handlers within custom_instantiation.cfg

This is the context of the problem:
user with Author role
CCStd
WFM based workflow is invoked (via 'Submit' command)
the workflow custom_instation.cfg is parsed (attached to this post as well)

The problem:
I would like to validate selected value within the drop-down list of this DCT:
pathid="getowner"

What event handler is invoked when "Next>>" button (used to proceed the workflow execution) is pressed?

You could use onItemChange instead. The event handlers like onSave, etc are not invoked in the custom_instantiation.cfg file.

One question though, with the field being a drop-down menu, what you do need to validate for it?

I think you may delete default generated javascript and then try to write your own js for checking validation. Try to alert the value from pathid="getowner".

The Event Registry which is not supported are:
- onClose
- onGenerate
- onPreview
- onSaveNameSpecified
- onSaveDone

So you can check validation on event "onSave".

The dropdown element is mandatory and CCPro handles that as it should - users are not able to move forward ('Next' button) unless they select a reviewer.

CCStd environment creates the problem:
When no reviewer is selected and user selecets 'Next', the WFM workflow crashes with a pop-up error (exception).

The above CCStd handling is not acceptable.

I tried using 'onSave' event handler (Faizi suggestion). It didn't work (the 'onSave' was not triggered when 'Next' were selected).
I am going to try now 'onItemChange'.
