After giving 24 hours to everyone for a reply, I proclaim myself as the Workflow Modeler Expert and the first ever person in the History of Interwoven to do a successful workflow implementation using Workflow Modeler.Other guys working on workflow modeler still have a chance to reply to the post
Congratulations!I did some initial implementation work with WFM last year - but never got to the finished work (rolled off the project).I'm using WFM on my current project - when I'm done, I'll have a better idea of how easy / difficult it was to do - though I'm not sure the workflow I'm implementing is really a stress-tester of any significant amount.I find the GUI okay - but it could be a **** of a lot better (the way it handles alignments and the lack of selectable connection points on the graphic objects prevents a clean layout of the diagram - and don't get me started on the "auto-layout" "feature")
Hi Munish,I have been working with the workflow modeler (WFM) since it's release last year. It's a different piece of software (for sure) in comparing it to the original "WorkFlow Builder" of the TS 6.5 generation.I had originally requested Will (Anglin) to do a webinar for the new WFM and he did do it but it turned out to be a very advanced-level webinar at least beyond my requirements.I assume I'm like most developers and I'd like a few OOTB examples that I can modify and when they released WFM 1.0.0.1, there were some OK examples in there that I could adjust and utilize.I certainly do not have any MAJOR workflows but I do have some basic error reporting that I did not have using the original WorkFlow Builder. I will try to convince the budget gods to let me attend a WFM training class but for now, I use what I have discovered.Don't know if that answers your post request but that's my $0.02 cents.-Dave
