preview_error

when I am trying to preview i am getting the following error

Could not open manifest: Y:\default\main\Branch1\SubBranch1\WORKAREA\workarea\zz_tst_user_0_manifest

I am on Teamsite 6.7.1 sp1 Windows 2003, not able to figure what is causing this????

Is there a space in your workarea name? If yes, try removing the space.

No space in the WA name, the forum software does this some times.

Is that file created (the manifest) ?

Check the preview limit in iw.cfg, I have seen issues where you need to increase it (from 1)

Does that user have permission to write to the root of the workarea ?

Is preview working for any file? Try importing an html which is perfectly alright outside the server and try opening it from Teamsite, see if it is perfect on the browser. If yes then its something to do with your tpl and permissions, if you cannot preview this sameple html, try restarting IIS.

Even then if you face same issue, try creating a new default website and then try browsing from there.

The user that I was logged in as did not have permission to write to the root of the workarea was the cause of the issue.
