TeamSite Server Down

Hi,
We are on TS 650 SP3 Patch1 on Windows Platform. While executing a Perl script, all of a sudden, the server went down. I tried executing iwreset -a but it is saying "Unable to connect server". On checking the services, iwProxy and iwTeamSite are down. When I tried starting them, "Error 5 : Access Denied" is returned. I am logged in with administartor account.

The Perl script was just creating an array of files from a workarea. In the logs it is saying that "Can not find path to logs".

Please suggest, any pointers would be of great help.

As I am also getting the same error mentioned in this article but even after implementing what is suggested, TeamSite is not coming up.

Please suggest.

If you try to manually start the iwserver process (net start iwserver) and it fails to come up - look at the iwserver.log file. That may refer you to another log file - if so, look at that log file. Continue this procedure until you've identified all the error messages that appear related to this problem.

First, however, I recommend doing the following:

However I never worked in windows environment but sometimesbackIalso faced same kind of issue and found that when TS shuts down thensometimes it does not stop all its serivces which creates the problemwhen u tries to start the TS. So please kill the IW processes and try to start again.

The server is up and running. There is some security policy issue with Windows 2003 server. Some folders were shared, I just removed their sharing and rebooted the machine and TeamSite came up.
