Hi,

We found that Worksite add-in for Excel is missing whilst I can use the Worksite Features in Word/Outlook/ppt. Please advice how to overcome this in Excel

Check for the presence of this set of keys to make sure that WorkSite Excel COM-AddIn is not missing.

Excel 2007:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\iManO2K.AddinForExcel2000]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\oUTR02K.Connect]

Excel 2000/2003:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\iManO2K.AddinForExcel2000]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Excel\Addins\iManO2K.AddinForExcel2000]

If so, you would need to re-register the iManOXP.dll/iManO2K.dll that is stored under your DeskSite/FileSite installed path, e.g. "C:\Program Files\Interwoven\WorkSite". This should push the keys back into the registry.

If that does not do it, you would probably need to uninstall and reinstall your client app to make it take effect.

It's strange that your Word and PPT were integrated but not EXCEL - the IManO2K.dll/IManOXP.dll should have registered all the COM-AddIn once it's successfully registered. This is the DLL that has the COM-AddIn source. If you have DeskSite or FileSite installed on that machine, you should have PPT, Word, and Excel integrated as well as DLL is installed along with the WorkSite Client.

It sounds like the registry keys on that machine has been compromised.
