How restrict the author from publishing the content?

Hi,

We want the Authors to be able to create and edit the content items, but we don't want them to publish the content.

We want the publish button to be disabled for those users. Do we have any capabilities to restrict those users from the publishing using the publish button.

Do we have any way to achieve this?

Hi Raju,

 

It is the SITE_PUBLISH capability which is responsible for publishing/ un-publishing related actions.

Please make sure that you do not provide that capability tothose users’ role and your job is done.
