Error in setting ACL in pre-persistence listener

Hi,

We've a usecase for which we need to set couple of capabilities on the ci being saved. The user has VCM:SECURITY_WRITE capability granted to him but we arestill getting AuthorizationException when tring to set ACL in our pre-persistence listener.

Attached is the runtime log and the relevant code. Appreciate any help on this.

VCM:SECURITY_WRITE also requires implied capability VCM:MODIFY_ACL. Can you verify if user has that?

Since you are using ContentManagementOpsfor this you should do this in a post-persistence listener. I suspect that theproblem here is that you’re doing in the case of creating the CI and themethod you’re calling can’t find the CI object to modify it’sACL since it hasn’t actually been saved yet. There’s a chance thateven using post-persistence wont work for this approach though, so report backif you continue to have trouble.
