What is the difference between the Vignette ports 27110 and 27001?

Hi Raju,

 

Assuming that you left the default configuration:

<![if !supportLists]>-         <![endif]>?27110 is the port of server VgnVCMServer: this is the serverthat runs the applications (Management Console, Configuration Console,extension, etc.)

<![if !supportLists]>-         <![endif]>27001 is the port of the AdminServer this is the server thatruns the Runtime Services Administration Console and VCM Tools

 

However by default, the installer deploys a web application tothe AdminServer that proxies the applications on VgnVCMServer so you are ableto access them through both ports.
