Install V6 Development Center on your client machine. The template details are shown in the Template properties. There is embedded template editor included in V6 Dev center.
Best way to start is to download V6 development cook book.

I believe Sohail gave you the answer you need. They're stored in the database and you use the V6 tools to view/edit them. They're not stored on the file system... I assume that's what your implying by asking for their path. You need to get the V6 development center so you can view the templates. I could be wrong... been many years since I've touched V6, but I think that's correct.

Re RE Where to find the templates in V6 ? Posted by vignadvisor@gmail.com (Aboobaker, Soohail) On 2010/05/06 09:54 ?Lokesh,?It has been a long time since I worked on V6 so the information might be inaccurate. If I remember correctly, templates are simply text files. The path to the file is stored in file properties which are viewable through your development center. If your client has development center installed, launch it and search for the template name. It will show you list of templates that match this name and you can view the properties. Actually, if you have development center, then you can simply cut and paste from the embedded editor into another text file. ?Sorry, I don't fully remember the deployment process.?Hope this helps.?Regards,Regards,Sohail Aboobaker. Well, actually the templates are stored in the database. Then, depending in the type of the template, they are deployed to different places.
In the case of the JSP templates each CDS will have a expandedweb application associated to it. The JSP will be then copied to theappropriate path within the exploded web application.
Java archives (jar) are not formally managed by V6.

sorry, now I remember after Warner's update. These are stored in database only. The cached results are stored on docroot.
Sorry for confusion.
