V8 install on Win XP?

I find that Win-XP is out of support Matrix for V8, we like install a V8 sandbox on my desktop, anybody has successfuly installation V8 on WIN-XP?

You can always try it on a virtual image of supported linux version.

To get virtual image for linux, do we have to pay again? Or it is free to download for customer who has already bought product version?
