How to retrive the whole content for a project

Hi,
We would like to retrieve entire content for a particular project. This should include all the static files as well. In one word, when we do an export of a whole site and content, it can be used for a migration to another environment correct. But just through API, can i retrieve this entire details? I tried to use ALL_CONTENT_INSTANCES. Is this ccorrect? Please advise anyone with a sample code or inputs is much appreciated!

Did you checked  the following API…hope this helps..

 

IPagingListgetManagedObjects(RequestParameters reqParams)
          Returns all managedobjects (both content instance items and static files) under this project,ordering by the Project name in ascending sequence.
