FileSite - basic Qn!

Will it be possible to use the COM dlls that comes with Filesite in my custom VB.Net application, without installing FileSite?

Depending on what you're trying to do ,you maybe able to get it working with your approach.Else Worksite SDK is the way to Go(Refer COM Object for WS Dev Ref. Manual.pdf).

Also All DM operations are actually handled by mhdll32.dll so are you also attempting something from the ODMA Interface (Then Refer the API Dev Guide.pdf)?

If you are attempting to consume the WorkSite COM API's in your custom app, then you should install the WorkSite iToolkit to make use of the same WorkSite DLL's that are distributed with FileSite.
