cumulative patch for 8.0

I am trying to install cumulative patch for 8.0, on the Patching Content Management Services (CMS)  step 22, it says:

Restart the Autonomy DRE and Autoindexer services.

 

But I don't have Autonomy in V8.0, I installed open text search for my search engine, do I need do autonomy installation and configure DRE as VCM search engine, or it is automatically done by the patch steps?

Hi Jeffrey, this is a “documentation” bug, justrestart the OpenText search engine instead. One more VCM8 advertisement for today:we are just one week away from the release of VCM 8.0 SP1 which will includeboth a connector to OpenText Common Search AND a connector for Autonomy for thosecustomers that desire to stick with Autonomy when upgrading to VCM 8.0.

 

VCM 8.0 SP1 also adds Skip Level Upgrade from VCM 7.3.1.1onwards.
