 Hi,

We upgraded our VCM from 7.6sp1 to VCM8.0 and unfortunately VCM8.0 is not providing any connector for Autonomy and we have to go with OpenTextSearch. So we installed OpenTextSearch and then configured index through opentext URL. 

Now, do we need to do any configuration from configconsole to get the documents indexed. if yes, do i need to unconfigure the Search first and then configure it?

Hi Madhu,

 

First please note that 8.0 SP1 due next week will have anAutonomy connector as well if that’s where your preference goes.

 

Back to your question: once the index is created, you can enablethe Search listeners from the Configuration Console.
