V8 - Security update doesn't seem to work in /content context root.

Hi,

Security update does not work in /content context root. The capability is the OOTB functionality which we use in combination with Rolesto set up security around Site specific Content Items in V7.6. In /Content context root, this doesn't seem to work. Say, New Site Master User(Associated toNew Site Master role)is not able to view,edit etc a New Hire content item. Only an admin is able to perform any action at all.

Hi Selvi,To understand your problem, I tried the following.1. Logged in as admin. Added a usergroup to the authorized groups by navigating to the Security sheet(tab) of a folder under /Content context root.2. Logged in as a user who belongs to that group. The above group has a role associated to it and hence it inherits all the capabilties that the role has.3. Hi Deepak,
Yes,NewHire CTD has all necessary capabilities for NewSiteMaster Role. As Imentioned this is working fine in AppConsole context.

TheNewSiteMasterUser is associated using group membership.

Hereis the thing I am also noticing, I don't see the Content folder availablefor the NewSiteMaster user and I have confirmed the CONTENT_READ capabilityis associated with the NewSiteMaster Role.
