Rich Media services

Hi,

I am trying to upload a Image file from Rich Media Asset Console and unfortunately i am not seeing the new project placement path that i created on VCM AppConsole under Content i.e., /Content/<sitename>, but i am seeing another site project placement path.

Do we need to do any configuration to show up all projects in placement path created under /Content?

Do you mean the "upload folder" that shows a dropdown of available folders to upload the image to? Is it one you defined in the "root.projects.list" in the MediaResource generic resource. If so, you likely need to clear the MediaResource generic resource cache. Per page 34 of the 7.2 doc:

■ To clear the generic resource cache:

1 Use your browser to access this URL:

http://host:port/richmedia/admin/Admin.action

Clearing the Generic Resource Cache where host is the name or IP address of the host on which the VCM Server is running, and port is the VCM Server port number.

2 Log in, using the administrator name and password.

3 Click the Cache tab.

4 Click the Clear Cache button.

In the config console, you would have to delete this property or have the contents to be empty - root.projects.list. The default behaviour is to list all the projects, it looks like your configuration has this property set up. Please refer to the RMS configuration guide for more details.
