Unable to retrieve CI's which are configured inside CI in VCM 8.0 using jsp.

We are facing problem for one of the site ( Versions used are VAP 8.1 & VCM 8.0 )

Problem is we have code (JSP) calling and retrieving internal CI's ,which
are configured in single CI using widget (Relator CCE) in VCM
8.0 version. Same Code is working fine and retrieving those internal CI's fine in VCM 7.6 version.

Actually Code functionality is to navigate 3 different Content items one by one which are configured and associated to 1 Single CI using widget "Relator CCE" , which is implemented using JSP .

We are able to retrieve content from first internal CI , but when we want to navigate to second internal CI , we are NOT ABLE move and staying in the same first page .

But one thing we observed is , When DPM cache at server level is cleared totally , it is moving to second page , and from there next third internal CI is not able to retrieve until again we clear DPM cache.

DPM cache clearing is not permanent solution for this .If anyone has faced this sort of problem , or has any information , Kindly share with us and help us resolve this problem.

We are facing issue with the RequestContex.

If the request got submit to the different page we are able to retrive the values by using requestcontext.getParameter(" ").

But if the request got submit to the same page we are getting null value's.

I think requestContext is not overriding with the new ObjectType.

Kindly share with us and help us resolve this problem.

You can try with SysUtil.getObjectCache().removeAll() if you arein the same JVM. If not you can try with the clear cache webserver.

We are unable to clear delivery cache by using following methods:

       ContentUtil.expireFromCache(vcmref) here we passed ManagedObjectVCMRef
        ContentUtil.expireFromCache(obj)     here we passed ManagedObject
        ContentUtil.expireFromCache(guid)    here we passed GUID

         ContentType.clearCache()
         ObjectType.clearCache()
         ContentUtil.clearCache()

Can any one suggest us the API to clear delivery cache.

Can you try appending 'vgnextrefresh=1' to the query string to clear management cache.

ContentUtil.doClearCacheOperation(String pageId, String regionName, String templateId, String contentInstanceId, String siteId)?

This method will create the content instance needed to refresh the delivery cache and will publish it.

If you want to clear the complete delivery cache you will need to invoke the Cache WebService.

Have you solved hits issue?

From where are you calling the methods to clear the delivery cache that are not working?, from a jsp of a display view?, from the DA?, from management?

If it is from a jsp of a Display View, perhaps the problem is the generation of the component's cache key.
