maximum number of items (CIs and SFs) in a single Project/ Channel

Hi,

is there a limitation to the maximum number of contents a channe/project may hold?

i would also like to know what kind of behaviour we may encounter from performance point of view? are there any guidelines about optimum number of contents that one should place in a project/ channel.

please share your experiece on this subject.

There is no hard limit on number of items per project or channel. Limiting to 500 may be a good idea so bulk transactions like changing ACLs/approving/publishing won't timeout.
