VCM 8.0 SP1

Hi,

Is VCM 8.0 SP1 released and available for download. I am not able to see in Downloads section. Only VCM 8.0 appears to be available for download.

Has 8.1 been released?

VCM 8.0 SP1 has been released back a couple of months ago. It isavailable for download from the “Patch” area within the KnowledgeCenter.

VCM 8.1 is scheduled for later this year/early next year.

Thank you very much. A little bit confusion with cumulative patch and sp1, is that same thing?

These are two different things.

The cumulative patch includes the latest SP (SP1 in this case)and a number of fixes for customer-submitted issues (so it might be updatedseveral times a month).

Service packs go through a formal QA exercise, while cumulativepatches do not.

So if I deployed accumulate patch 20100513, I still have deploy sp1 because it is really just an untested sp1 version in May 13th, right?

Quick question, it looks like the SP1 version has been updated on July 29th? I patched my sandbox to SP1, but I found my patched version is June 8th version, and on SP1 download, there is a July 29th version. Those two versions has 15k difference in size.
