wcm renderRemainingWidgets does not work

Hi,

I created a CTD and under extensibility section using a custom JSP  to render a custom input form. To do this I am using <wcm:renderRemainingWidgets/> to render the custom input form, however, when I try to open and create a new content instance, I am shown a dialog with top tabs containing "General", "Classification", "Channels" etc. and buttons like "OK", "Cancel", "Apply" etc. but the CIF itself is not getting displayed.

 

I thought, I am missing some thing, and modified the JSP URI to point to /vgn-wcm-up/cif/renderremaining.jsp, /vgn-wcm-up/cif/defaultcif.jsp and /vgn-wcm-up/cif/default_rendering.jsp but none of them are showing the CIF. The vgn-wcm-up web app is deployed along with VgnContentSvs EAR application.

Can someone provide insights into using WCM tag libraries for CIF. BTW my VCM version is 7.6. Let me know if you need any more inputs.

You need to explicitely use the render remaining widgets only incase when you use a custom CIF that addresses only some of the widgets definedfor the current relation.

The defultcif contains the render remaining widget tags. So itis enough that you use define /vgn-wcm-up/dif/defaultcif.jsp as your custom cifto have the system use the render remaining widgets tag.
