file based Custom Logger
Posted by jonathan.ricker@modis.com (Ricker, Jonathan) On 2010/07/28 16:12
I have written a custom logger that extends com.intraspect.log.LogWriterFileTXT. I expect it to work as does the built in struct log meaning that it creates the log files and timestamps the old ones when it starts up. I set the log.structLog0 to true and the the log.structLogClass0 to my class name. It works as expected except that when I stop Collaboration and try to start it again it fails to start. I find that the Collab.props file has a log.structLogFileLast0 entry, which seems to be correct (consistent with how the build in struct log works). The problem is that it will not start up until I remove that property. I have tried a bunch of different cases and the only way I can get it to start is to remove the log.structLogFileLast0 property. Has anyone else noticed this? Am I missing something or is this a bug? I didn't want to write my own file management but I might have to do that if I can't get this to work. Thanks in advance, Jonathan
