Non-Admin user access to content center professional in Teamsite 6.7.1

We are planning a Teamsite 6.1 to 6.7.1 upgrade and we have many users that are currently using the Content Center Professional UI for their day to day work. I read this UI will no longer be available to non-Admin users? We want this to retain these editors and authors access to professional UI. Anyone have any thoughts on how to best do this with the new flex roles or UI configuration so we don't have to make everyone Administrators?

Where did you read this ? We are on 6.7.1 and no one uses cc-std, a bunch of authors.

Hi, The statement is not true. Acces to GUIs is controlled by a simple setting in 6.7.1. For each user, you can choose to have one of the following combination of UIs irrespective of their role-

Standard Only - User can access Standard interface only
Standard - Default interface would be standard but user can switch to professional
Professional Only - User can access Professional interface only
Professional - Default interface would be professional but user can switch to standard

Also, please note, TS 6.7.1 has branch based roles so the same user could be an author on one branch and Administrator on another, in which case, your statement does not apply at all..
