I can see following message all the time in iwjoberrors.log file repetitively.

"Y:branch1\main\sub_branch\WORKAREA\WA1\templatedata\category1\datatype1\data\DCR1
does not exist in area
\branch1\main\sub_branch\WORKAREA\WA1"

So what does this error suggest, whats the solution ?

can you provide your env details? and you full log file. what workflow you were using? what happens when you submit your DCR1? is the log file again gets updated? if so post that log file. etc.

It means your workflow is incorrect, what is the solution ? No clue because none of us wrote it.

You need to actually try and debug this or find someone who can. 1st determine at what point these errors are added, what happens ? Is it during WF instanciation or during an external task. Once you find the offending process, then it can be fixed.

my guess is during instantiation - as I think that's the only time anything gets placed in the iwjoberrors.log. post-instantiation errors are more likely to end up in iwtrace.log, iwserver.log or some system log file (e.g.: /var/adm/messages on Solaris)
