Export of site

Hi,

We have VAP installed/configured on Weblogic Application server and we have a webserver sitting infront of Appserver and through webserver VAP consoles are being accessed.

We have few sites configured on the VAP and out of these few sites, sites which are small in size are able to export with out any issues and facing problem with one site whose size is of 1.5MB nearly.

Could you please let us know whether we have any restriction in place with respect to size on VAP. i could see a parameter called

com.vignette.portal.website.admin.internal.control.MultipartWrapper.max_upload_bytes whose value is set to 15728640 bytes(15MB)

Can some one help me on this?

In the meantime, i am trying to replicate the issue bypassing webserver(directly accessing through Appserver) assuming that WLTIMEOUTSECONDS paramter at webserver is causing the issue.

Are there any errors being logged in the Portal log when your download fails?  Have you tested with a different browser (i.e., maybe your browser is timing out)?

If you're on Portal 7.4 or later you could also export from the command line using ImportExportTool.  Set the appropriate java in your PATH and go to your Portal/bin directory.

To see the usage on Windows:

ImportExportTool.bat -help

On Unix:

./ImportExportTool.sh -help

To export a site.

./ImportExportTool -export site <site dns name> <destination file>
