TS 6.7.1 bug??

In TS 6.7.1, browser item accepts default subelement (though not mentioned in the PDF). In browser item, we specify the extensions acceptable. But default valuse can ab anything means other than the acceptable file types.

So does it make any sense? Isn't it a bug?

No it's not, not in my opinion anyway. The reason is two-fold.

Firstly, what you are doing is formally a hack. It's neither documented nor supported. As far as the Vendor is concerned
you should not be doing that, if you do you are on your own.

Secondly and perhaps more importantly 'extns' Attribute IS NOT a validation component. It's a Filter for the browsing
to make navigation easier, less clattered etc. If you want to validate DCF item value, use Validation regex.
